Languages & Multilingual

By default, LotusQ works out which language you're speaking each time you hold the key, so there is nothing to switch. Then it types the text in that language, in any app.

You can dictate in any of 78 languages, including English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Go to Settings → General → Language to choose Auto (the default) or pin one language. Pinning skips language detection, which makes each dictation a little faster.

If you speak more than one language, leave it on Auto: LotusQ detects the language on each dictation.

Language detection and transcription run on LotusQ's servers, so they need an internet connection. LotusQ sends each dictation to a speech processor for its language, then tidies the text.
