Automatic Language Detection
LotusQ detects which language you're speaking automatically, no manual switching. It uses a lightweight AI model to identify the language from the first moments of audio and routes to the optimal engine.
Supported Languages
LotusQ supports 40+ languages through specialized cloud engines optimized for each language family:
English
Ultra-low latency, highest quality (~400ms)
Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi + 5 more
Native Indic script output with specialized models
French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese + 30 more

Configuring Your Languages
Go to Settings → Languages to set your preferred languages. If you only speak one language, LotusQ skips language detection entirely for faster results.
💡 For bilingual users: set both your languages in Settings. LotusQ will auto-detect which one you're speaking per dictation.
Local Model Languages
The local engine supports 99 languages and runs entirely on your device. Quality varies by language. English has the highest accuracy. The local engine doesn't include AI formatting.
