Questions
How does the free trial work?
New accounts get 7 days of every LotusQ feature, with no card needed. The trial starts the first time you sign in to the desktop app. Trials without a card include about 2 hours of dictation a day; adding a card removes the limit. If you haven't added a card by the time the trial ends, LotusQ stops transcribing and nothing is charged. Choose monthly or annual billing when you are ready to continue.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in inside the app before you can dictate. New accounts get 7 days free with no card, then it's $6 a month or $60 a year.
Is there a free version?
No. New accounts get 7 days free with no card, then it's $6 a month or $60 a year. If you don't add a card, the trial simply stops and you're not charged.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you haven't added a card, LotusQ stops transcribing and nothing is charged. Your dictionary, snippets and history are kept. If you added a card with 48 hours or more of trial left, the first charge falls when the trial ends.
Is dictation unlimited?
Once a card is added, yes. A trial without a card includes about 2 hours of dictation a day.
Monthly or annual?
Monthly is $6. Annual is $60—$5 per month—so you save 17% across the year.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel before your next renewal and you won't be charged again. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
I already have an account. Do I need a card?
If your account was created before trials without a card began and you have never had a trial, you still get 7 days free, but you start them by adding a card at checkout. That trial becomes a paid plan when it ends unless you cancel before then. Each person gets one free trial, so if you have already had one, you will not get another.
