One key for every box you type into
Your editor's voice button fills one box. LotusQ's key works in all of them: the terminal, the editor, AI prompt boxes, the browser and chat. It runs on Mac (Apple Silicon), Windows and Linux, and on Linux you get AppImage, .deb, .rpm or .pacman.

Works in all of these, and any other app with a text field.
In a code editor's prompt box, you hold F1 and say "rename the variable is loading to is fetching". LotusQ writes: "Rename the variable isLoading to isFetching."
Why developers use it
Linux, four ways.
AppImage, .deb, .rpm and .pacman. The .deb, .rpm and .pacman packages set up keyboard access for you. Hyprland is handled specifically; on other Wayland desktops it's best-effort.
Package installs don't update themselves. Come back to the download page for new versions, or use the AppImage, which does.
Speak structure.
Say "scratch that" or "actually, no" and only what you meant gets typed. Say a list and get a list. Say a variable name and get it in camelCase. Say "type exactly" when you want the words as spoken.
Your tool names, spelt right.
Add them to your dictionary once, the way they're heard and the way you write them: Superbase → Supabase.
Nothing typed from silence.
Hold the key and say nothing, and nothing gets typed.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't work without an internet connection. Every dictation goes to our servers.
- It doesn't read the conversation on your screen unless you turn that on for Compose, and it can't on Linux.

Questions
Which Linux package should I pick?
The one for your distribution. It sets up keyboard access for you. Pick the AppImage if you want automatic updates.
Can it learn names and technical terms?
Yes. Add them to your dictionary: it works on every platform and syncs with your account. On Windows and macOS it can also notice your corrections and add them to your dictionary, or ask first if you prefer.
Your next sentence is waiting.
Download LotusQ, hold F1, and talk into whatever you're writing next.
