Works in all of these, and any other app with a text field.
In an email, you hold F1 and say "um, so can you, uh, send over the updated proposal tomorrow morning and mention that the revised timeline is attached". LotusQ writes: "Can you send over the updated proposal tomorrow morning and mention that the revised timeline is attached."
Keep your exact words when you want them.
Direct Mirroring skips the tidying: you get the words as they were heard, with your dictionary and basic capitals applied. Say "type exactly" and the next words go in as you said them.
Your names, spelt your way.
Clients, colleagues, trade terms. Add them once, import or export them as a CSV file, and they follow you to every computer you sign in to.
Boilerplate on a phrase.
Save a sign-off or an address as a snippet. Say its trigger phrase and the whole text goes in, as plain text.
Compose for the long ones.
Hold F6 to draft a reply, rewrite a paragraph you've selected, or answer a message. Choose a tone, see up to five versions, and insert only the one you want.
What it doesn't do
- It won't fix your grammar. Most styles are told not to change your grammar or word choice. The Professional style does trim hedges like "kind of" and may split a long sentence in two.
- If you repeat a word, the repeat stays.
- The style follows the app's name. Email in a browser tab gets your browser's style, not your mail app's. You can change which style each group of apps gets.

Questions
Will it change my words?
In most styles, only to take out fillers and false starts and to punctuate. The Professional style also trims hedges like "kind of" and may split a long sentence. Direct Mirroring skips the tidying: you get the words as they were heard, with your dictionary and basic capitals applied.
Does it work in webmail and online documents?
Yes, in any app with a text field, including your browser. Most browser tabs get your browser's writing style, not your mail app's. On Linux, a website installed as its own app, such as Gmail, gets its own style, and on Windows and Linux, with the optional Use window titles to pick a better style setting, LotusQ can also recognise sites in ordinary browser tabs.
Can it learn names?
Yes. Add them to your dictionary: it works on every platform and syncs with your account. On Windows and macOS it can also notice your corrections and add them to your dictionary, or ask first if you prefer.
Your next sentence is waiting.
